Good to know
Before you register
Which class is right for my child?
Go by grade. PreK4 and Kindergarten students start with Storybook Theatre or Little Actors. Grades 1 to 3 are Rising Stars. Grades 4 to 5 can choose Young Performers, or step up to the Beginner Workshop or Advanced Production. Grades 6 to 12 choose between the Beginner Workshop and the Advanced Production.
Students should enroll in one class offering only.
What is the difference between the Workshop and the Production?
The Beginner Musical Theatre Workshop is an 8 week skills class that ends with an informal studio presentation. The Advanced Musical Theatre Production is a 16 week rehearsal process that ends with a fully staged musical at the Williamson Theatre. The Production requires an audition and prior experience, and everyone who auditions is cast.
Is my child guaranteed a part?
Yes. In every production class, all who enroll are in the show. In the Advanced Production, students agree to accept the role given.
What happens when a class is full?
Join the waitlist through the same registration link. Because of online processing time, some classes may appear open but already have a waitlist, so please wait for a confirmation email from SICTA staff before sending payment.
