Where young actors bloom.
Professional musical theatre training for ages 4 to 18, in a place that feels like family. Classes at Snug Harbor Cultural Center. Performances on real Staten Island stages. Sixty-four seasons and counting.
Act I · Who we are
Sixty-four seasons. One big family.
The Staten Island Children's Theatre Association is a nonprofit that has been putting kids on stage since 1962. Our mission is to inspire young performers of every background to build self-confidence and positive mental health while receiving professional training in musical theatre.
Students train and perform in a nurturing, supportive environment at every level of experience. Many of our alumni have gone on to regional theatre, national tours and Broadway. All of them left with something harder to list on a resume.
